Core Module 5 — Coping Mechanisms

Applied Intervention Module · Mentalis Method™ — Pillar 5

Module Overview

Coping mechanisms play a central role in emotional regulation, stress management, and psychological resilience. In this module, we explore how individuals adapt, consciously or unconsciously, to emotional challenges, life stressors, and adversity.

Through the lens of the Mentalis Method™, Pillar 5 - Adaptive Coping and Self-Awareness,  you’ll learn to identify different types of coping strategies, understand how they develop, and distinguish between adaptive and maladaptive responses. This module integrates psychological theory with applied tools that support emotional stabilization, resilience, and healthier responses to stress.

Important:
This module is offered as a full module only and forms part of the Mentalis Method™ diploma pathway.

Module 5 can only be taken once modules 1 to 4 have been completed.
