1. What is Mentalis Academy?

Mentalis Academy is an educational institute offering structured, evidence-informed learning in emotional health. We provide individual learning experiences, a professional certification pathway, and corporate programs that support psychological safety, communication, emotional regulation, and relational functioning—grounded in the Mentalis Method™.

2. Are your programs accredited?

Mentalis Academy provides educational certificates recognizing structured learning achievement. Certain programs may be eligible for recognition by professional associations for continuing education or professional development purposes, depending on each organization’s criteria. Because recognition requirements vary, learners are encouraged to consult the relevant association directly or contact us for general information.

3. Who are your programs for?

Our programs are designed for:

• Individuals seeking deeper self-understanding and emotional growth.

• Professionals in helping, wellness, education, leadership, HR, or human-centered roles.

• Organizations seeking psychologically informed training to strengthen team dynamics and psychological safety. 

• Those exploring a thoughtful transition into emotional health–related work

No prior clinical or therapeutic training is required unless specifically indicated for professional certification programs.

4. Are Mentalis Academy programs psychotherapy training or clinical licensure programs?

No. Mentalis Academy provides educational programs in emotional health and psychosocial understanding, not psychotherapy or psychology licensure training. Our learning experiences are designed to develop self-awareness, relational understanding, and psychologically informed skills that may support personal development or professional roles involving human interaction. Programs do not grant authorization to practice psychotherapy or any regulated clinical profession. Learners remain responsible for understanding the scope of practice and professional regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

5. Can I apply what I learn professionally?

Yes. Many learners apply Mentalis learning within existing professional roles such as coaching, education, leadership, wellness, human resources, or community-based work. Programs are designed to support psychologically informed practice while respecting professional and regulatory boundaries.

Individual Learning

6. Do I need to take courses in a specific order?

Micro-courses within Modules 1–4 are completed sequentially, as each builds upon concepts introduced in the previous course. Modules themselves may be taken in any order. Specialized courses may be taken independently at any time.

7. How long do I have access to my courses?

Individual learning experiences include one year of access from the date of enrollment. Learners may progress at a pace that fits their schedule. For continuity and integration, many learners choose to complete a full module within approximately 3–6 months.

8. What is the difference between a micro-course and a full module?

Micro-courses focus on a single topic and are self-directed learning experiences. Full modules bring five sequential micro-courses together into an integrated learning experience and include a downloadable workbook supporting reflection and practical integration, as well as a Certificate of Module Completion.

9. Are there live sessions or instructor interaction?

Individual courses and modules are designed as self-directed learning experiences and do not include live sessions. Live seminars, instructor guidance, and interactive learning components are available within the Certified Mentalis Emotional Health Practitioner™ (CMEHP™) certification program.

Corporate Programs

10. What are your corporate programs?

Mentalis corporate programs are structured learning experiences delivered to intact teams or departments. Programs combine guided learning with facilitated integration seminars to support psychological safety, communication, emotional regulation, and more sustainable team functioning in real workplace contexts.

11. Are live sessions included in corporate programs?

Yes. Corporate programs include facilitated live integration seminars where teams apply learning concepts directly to workplace situations through guided discussion and reflection.

12. Can corporate programs be customized?

Yes. Programs are adapted to organizational realities, including team goals, workplace context, and scheduling needs. Program structure and pacing are planned collaboratively.

13. How long do corporate programs take?

Corporate programs are often delivered over approximately 6–8 weeks, with flexible start dates and pacing determined in consultation with the organization.

Pricing & Payments

14. How much do programs cost?

Pricing varies depending on the learning experience selected (individual learning, certification, or corporate programming). All prices are listed on the relevant pages, and corporate pricing is provided through consultation based on organizational needs.

15. Do you offer payment plans?

Payment plans may be available for certain certification enrollments. Details are provided during enrollment or upon request.

16. Are refunds available?

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for individual courses, provided that less than 20% of the content has been accessed. Refunds are not available for the Certified Mentalis Emotional Health Practitioner™ (CMEHP™) certification program once learning access has begun. For corporate programs, cancellation and rescheduling terms are outlined in the service agreement.

Technical & Access Issues

17. How do I access my courses?

After registration and payment, you will receive an email containing login instructions. Courses are accessed through the Mentalis Academy online learning platform.

18. What if I have trouble accessing my course?

19. Can I download course materials?

Many written materials, such as readings and worksheets, are available for download. Video and presentation content must be streamed through the learning platform and cannot be downloaded.
