In this micro-course, we explore one of the core skills that supports emotional intelligence, resilience, and meaningful personal growth: self-awareness. Together, we will clarify what self-awareness truly means, not only as a concept, but as an ongoing practice of understanding your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and inner patterns.

We’ll also clarify the important distinction between self-awareness and mindfulness—two terms often used interchangeably, but rooted in different processes. You’ll learn how each works, how they complement each other, and how developing both can strengthen your ability to respond rather than react.

This course introduces key psychological theories that explain how we perceive ourselves. Concepts such as reflective thinking, metacognition, and self-concept help build a strong foundation for intentional change.
